Listen to an album where he actually sings rather than says his songs. It's all down hill from here. Listen to him actually hold a note out at the end of a line or phrase. Best Neil Diamond album ever. "Holly Holy" is spectacular live.
But one of THE worst covers ever. Great sound. I mean the hair is bad enough but he looks like he's singing to his [.]. Every act should have a live album this good. Tons of hits.
It was a good price and it arrived in good shape. When I found it on amazon I ordered it and it was shipped in a few days. My wife, who is a serious Neil Diamond fan wanted another copy of Hot August Night. She has gone through 6, including vinyls, over the years and this was hard to find.
It's a must-have for all Neil Diamond fans. The CD contains all of Neil's great early songs, and it's a wonderful live album. Aside from his Greatest Hits album, "Hot August Night" is my favorite Neil Diamond CD of all time. This deluxe edition is especially nice because it comes with a bonus disc that includes eight extra tracks, which are all fantastic.
Takes me back to the days.A must have for all Neil Diamond fans. Sound quality is great, and feels as if you're hearing it live. Absolutely wonderful. We have the original vinyl, one of the best albums of its time, and decided to get the CD.
